Diluvian Collapse was formed in 2018 as a continuation of the initial Bleed Your Eyes project. This change we made was mainly due to a change in perspective. Bleed Your Eyes was a prototype that eventually exceeded its initial purpose. Diluvian Collapse relates to the Sumerian and biblical deluge mythos, which represents the wrath of the Gods against Their creation, a cleansing. That is actually what we tried to convey and portray in our music: the nature of man, the damage caused by its existence, and the effects that are reflected upon us. Our music is drawing its inspiration from deathcore/metalcore, with progressive and slam elements. During our existence, we have performed tens of concerts on the local scene venues, festivals as Rock la Mures and Gugulan Rock, Rockfort and opening acts for bands like Jinjer and Skinned. In 2020, we released our first album record, entitled “Divine Punishment”.

Divine Punishment
Divine Punishment is our debut album which incorporates songs from our former band, as well as newer ideas which reflect the motive of self-induced suffering and the by-product of ignorance and greed. The divine punishment may seem to come in different forms and shapes, but the real question is whether the divinity actually does participate directly or it watches in disdain our own actions unfold. The album combines multiple elements from metalcore to slam, from progressive metal to deathcore to take the listener on a journey of retrospection and introspection.
Apparently we had reached a great height in the atmosphere, for the sky was a dead black.
